Lighter than most motion-control shoes, the Wave Alchemy 8 steps up the stability factor to help moderate to severe overpronators with low or flat arches stay on target. With slightly more arch support than average, this shoe rides the Double-Fan Wave for the perfect blend of control and cushioning. The VS-1 foam absorbs shock and supplies cush during heel strike, and it's combined with X10, the most durable carbon rubber for longer wear and better traction. The SmoothRide engineering provides a seamless ride for your foot during transitions. On the comfort front, the lightweight and durable midsole features the Mizuno Intercool ventilation system to handle heat from your feet, plus the AirMesh upper helps your shoes breathe with ease.
