Join us in the fun! Volunteer opportunities include setup, registration, course help, water stops, expo and awards help and much more. All volunteers will get a free t-shirt. Fill out the form below and someone will be in contact you with more information.

If you have a non-profit group, please email us for information on how to earn money for your group in exchange for volunteering at one of our events. See Jane Run Volunteer Position Descriptions

Both day before and day of race postions are available, either in the park or along the course.

If you are interested in volunteering for a position, you will receive a confirmation email along with a duty description and a shift assignment.

Setup
Pre-Race Day: Shifts from 5 PM – 8 PM
Race Day: Shifts from 5AM – 8 AM
Duties include Setting up the start and finish line, celebration area

Registration and Packet Pick Up
Race Day: Shifts from 5:30 am – 7:45am
Help our runners register and pick up their race packets

Course Marshals and Split Timers
Race Day: Shifts July 17th from 7:45 am – 1 pm
Duties include:
-Course Marshals:Helping Runners stay on course along with keeping runners safe from cars
-Split Timing: Located at mile markers and stop watches will be provided. Split timers shout out times as runners pass by.

Water stations
Race Day: Shifts from 7:45 am- 2 pm
Help setting up, handing out water to runners, and breaking down at water stations positioned at every 2 miles along the course

Expo/Celebration
Race Day: 8:00 am- 2 pm
Duties include handing out goodies, chocolate, Champaign (must be 21), food, t-shirts, water, and passing out checked clothing to participants at the expo the day before and the celebration after the finish line

Breakdown and Clean Up
Race Day: Shift from 12:30 PM to 4 PM
Breaking down the start and finish line, celebration area, etc.
