Help raise $100,000 for the Breast Cancer Fund!
Sign up to fundraise as part of your triathlon and help us reach our goal of $100,000 for the Breast Cancer Fund! Since 2003, See Jane Run has helped raise $90,000 for the Breast Cancer Fund through triathlon fundraising and other in-store events. As part of See Jane Run Women’s Triathlon, we encourage you to fundraise to help stop breast cancer before it starts. To add to the fun, the top individual fundraiser will win a beautiful 2009 Jamis Trail X1 bike generously sponsored by Honest Tea:
Other top fundraising individuals and team will receive great prizes from our premiere outdoor gear sponsors and fundraising contests will help motivate you along the way.
How it works:
Register here to become a fundraiser, and then customize your fundraising page with a photo and a story about why you’re helping. You can then easily send e-mails out to friends and family to solicit their support and begin gathering donations. Everything you raise will directly support the Breast Cancer Fund and their groundbreaking work to eliminate the environmental causes of the disease! The deadline to be included for these incentive prizes is Sunday, September 19, 2010.
In addition to your efforts, See Jane Run will match participant fundraising, up to $5,000.
In response to the public health crisis of breast cancer, the Breast Cancer Fund identifies – and advocates for elimination of – the environmental and other preventable causes of the disease. The organization works to connect the dots between breast cancer and exposures to chemicals and radiation in our everyday environments.
